Hello Gluten Free World

by

Hello!

I was diagnosed with celiac disease 3 weeks ago and am joining the online celiac community in order to fight (in super hero style) gluten intolerance for celiacs in Boston and beyond.  Greetings!

Crime fighting sidekicks are welcome.

Good luck with going gluten free! I found the beginning to be tough, but after 4-6 months I started feeling SO MUCH BETTER… things I didn’t even know were wrong with me were gone. It’s great — and living in the Boston/Cambridge area makes it so much easier!

By the way — good GF pizza in Porter Square – Stone Hearth Pizza – they have GF pizza & pasta and beer!

Also – Zing Pizza in Porter has GF pizza, and they deliver — I haven’t tried them yet, but I definitely want to!

    Welcome to the club:)
At first you might find it a little daunting but believe me when I tell you, you can still eat the foods you love – you just have to prepare them differently.
More importantly, you need to learn to read labels.
    Visit my blog http://glutenfreewithauntjayne.wordpress.com
I have tons of recipes (tons more on the way) and lots of links to other Celiac sites, information and support.
Let me know how I can help.
    Take care of you,
    Aunt Jayne
